Evington Leisure Centre

In January 2022 the City Mayor, Peter Soulsby promised that no housing development would take place on any green spaces in Evington.

In January 2023 Leicester City Council are about to approve 15 new houses on a green space in Evington. The development will take place next door to Evington Leisure Centre, an area which already suffers with huge traffic issues

In just 12 months, Labour and Peter Soulsby have completely backtracked and broken their promise. Peter Soulsby and Labour cannot be trusted.
