Conservatives Speak at Gurdwara

Meeting Gurdwara President

Conservative local council candidate Mr Jaspal Sethi took mayoral candidate Cllr Ross Grant to the gurdwara on East Park Road where they both addressed the gathered audience on Sunday April 24th.

Ross said "it is humbling to be given the opportunity to speak to so many people, and to receive such a warm welcome".

He spoke of the need to deal with Council waste before cutting services or raising Council Tax, as well as the need for the Council to do more to listen to all communities in the City, and to treat them all fairly.

Mr Sethi is standing in the Humberstone and Hamilton ward and said that the Council had not listened and responded to the needs of the residents in the Hamilton area of the City.
