Have your say on the Council's plans for Guthridge Crescent

Leicester City Council is considering plans to concert a housing office in Braunstone into a mosque.

The Al-Mahdi Association charity is working with the Council to convert the old Braunstone South housing office into a place of worship.

We have been contacted by residents who live around Guthridge Crescent who oppose the change.

Residents we have spoken to would prefer the site to be opened as a multi-use youth facility. This would help return the youth services closed across Leicester by the city mayor.

Concerns with the current plans include potential increases in traffic and noise from the property.

Have your say on the plans by completing the form below.
