Local people in Leicester have only two weeks left to have their say on the state of Leicester city centre, as the Conservatives’ Save our City survey closes on Friday 24th March.
The campaign launched last month in response to fears over the high number of stores closing down - including the iconic Fenwick store - as well as growing concerns around the lack of parking, safety and cleanliness of the city centre.
Last week Labour-led City Hall announced that they are to slash the amount they spend on keeping the city clean by over a quarter, adding to further fears about its declining state.
Chairman of the Leicester Conservatives, Jack Hickey said:
“We have had an overwhelmingly positive response from the public to our campaign – people are fed up and want to see change.
“If Labour are allowed to continue with their plans unchecked, we can only expect things in the city to get worse.
“This is a chance for local people to have their say and help shape a better future for our city – have your say today.”
The survey is available online until Friday 24th March 2017, and can be accessed here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/YH2NRBZ
